The final two slots on Hordes Of Belial – The Burning H8 have been filled!
Dredging up a murky smorgasbord of filthy doom-sludge, Dolour’s pure riff power belies the short lifetime of the band, only having seen their first release – Crossing the Divine/Penitence (Through Physical Pain) – this year. However, there is some pedigree to explain that. This Edinburgh outfit features members of Tower Of Flies, Collapse Of Reason and other nasty Scottish metal fungi.
Our second, and final addition is local band Volcano X. This Dundee mob have spent the past four years perfecting the art of modernising the classic NWOBHM sound, and carving their own character from the heart-stone of traditional metal. Pulling together members of previous bands Core and Self Made Man, when asked why they wanted to launch this project, they simply reply “Because the world needs HEAVY FUCKING METAL”
With the stages now full, we’re ready to move on with the show, so keep your eyes propped open for competitions, merch and more in the coming weeks! In the meantime, why not snag yourself some advance tickets over at www.wegottickets.com..?
