We’ve gone back to the punk, with another outing for Trashed! Again, it’s free entry, and promises to be a right old knees up. First up we have the sometimes comical, old school, rock ‘n’ roll/country influenced Aye Hobos from Dunfermline.
Slap bang in the middle, the youth step up with Brainglue. Bringing together elements of garage punk and noise rock, this is home town crew were described in local press as “New York Dolls, Iggy and the Stooges, The Ramones, with J Masic’s style guitar” (Small City, Big Personality).
Finally, wrapping up the evening, and helping to complete the full East coast range, we have The Signal from Inverness. Rolling in with old school punk, oi, and ska, this is the genuine article, fronted with attitude and energy. Rebels and roustabouts assemble!
Once more, we’re chuffed to bits with the way the line-up has turned out, as it’s a bit of a different mix to many other shows. Every band on the bill shines for their own reasons. If you want to see more Trashed shows like this in Perth, get in early and show us – vote with your dancing feet!
