Underground In Prydain: Underground In Prydain Archives
Victory! We’ve managed to dredge the vaults and find pretty much all of the old Underground In Prydain articles!
For those of you who don’t know, UIP originally started as simple blog. It covered some of the ‘hot topics’ in the music industry, and how they relate to the underground musician. It did this with the aid of interviews, conducted with musicians and music industry personnel, who have a soft spot for unsigned talent, and some experience with said factors.
When the Slow Dragon Music site went down in the middle of August, it looked like these articles were lost. Luckily, however, it was possible to grab the later ones from caches, and the earlier pieces were still available on the original blog. Huzzah!
It has taken quite a while to pull together, but now it is done! We are happy to (re)present the Underground In Prydain Archives!
We will be adding to this with new coverage in future. If you are doing something unusual with a release, or have been effectively working through any of the issues in the modern day music industry, we would love to hear from you. Not only could it make for an interesting article, but it also offers a different means of spreading the word about your activities.
Email slowdragonmusic@gmail.com to let us know what you’re up to!
The archive articles have been kept to a ‘text only’ format, and are mainly reading for those with a deep interest in music industry workings. This could be bands, students, those working in the industry, or even just fans who like to dig deep. Some may consider it dry. If, however, this is up your street, you can also follow Underground In Prydain on Facebook, where we share not only UIP articles, but other industry information we have found interesting.
