Metal 2 The Masses: Scotland is about to reach the ultimate stage for 2025!!!

Once more, Slow Dragon Music, in association with Bloodstock Open Air, have journeyed around Scotland for the last two months, for Metal 2 The Masses. The award winning initiative, from the UK’s biggest independent metal festival, has taken us seen in a wild array of heavy music talent, from the major cities, to the Shetland islands. The quality of the participating bands in 2025 has been so consistently high, that most decision have been difficult at best. The audience have been very close in their decisions, as have the judging panels. Now, however, we have the full lineup for this year’s Grand Final, hitting Edinburgh on April 26th. Check it out below.

As you can see, due to the very tight results in your Semi-finals, we’ve broken with tradition a little.

Rather than 3 guest headliners, we’ve opted for two; previous M2TM: Scotland winners, Catalysis, and Hammer! Both are excellent examples of top quality metal coming through Metal 2 The Masses, and always deliver the goods on stage. This opens things up, and allows us to invite not just one, but two top runners up…

The quality and tough choices were just too much to take, so, this year, we are running with six finalists; A Dose Of Death, Those Made Broken, Dreich, Nothing Speaks, Catalyst Symphony, and Trowsholm. One of these acts will be selected on the day, based on their performance, to go all the way to Bloodstock Festival!!!

Blind Bat and Early Bird tickets are now off sale! Pre-sales have now gone up to £12, with on-the-door tickets at £15. This show is going to leave a crater in the Edinburgh metal scene once more, taking place this time at The Hive, with a smaller capacity than before – Best to get your tickets asap!!!
