M2TM Semi-finals Scotland 2024
This year’s Scottish Metal 2 The Masses Heats are complete, and phase one is DONE!
It’s been one hell of a ride so far, with some min-blowing performances all around Scotland. We’ve been to Glasgow, Fraserburgh, Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Edinburgh, Bathgate, and Inverness, all in the quest for the ultimate riffage! All results are now in, and every slot at the coming Semi-finals locked and loaded! Check out the details for all four locations below!
GLASGOW SEMI-FINAL
When: Friday April 05th 2024
Where: Nice N Sleazy, 421 Sauchiehall St, Glasgow G2 3LG
Who: From the Glasgow Heat, Catalyst Symphony and Eld Varg are joined by Medusa Touch and King Nobody from the Bathgate Heat. This one has a wild mix of symphonic, old school, groovy, and straight up heavy metal.

DUNDEE SEMI-FINAL
When: Saturday April 06th 2024
Where: Roots, 51-53 Meadowside, Dundee DD1 1EQ
Who: Dundee Heat winners, the heavy metal Volcano X and new wave Hyperstasis go head-to-head with the top runners up from across all the Heats, Erebor who came up to play the Edinburgh Heat, and The Goatboy, who dropped some heavy grunge on Kirkcaldy.

EDINBURGH SEMI-FINAL
When: Friday April 19th 2024
Where: Legends, 71 Cowgate, Edinburgh EH1 1JW
Who: Hammer and Radio Fury blasted through from the Edinburgh Heat with their respective takes on groove and rap metal, to be joined by Kirkcaldy Heat bands, the guttural H8teball and emotive fuzz of Fuktivano.

ABERDEEN SEMI-FINAL
When: Saturday April 20th 2024
Where: Krakatoa, 2 Trinity Quay, Aberdeen AB11 5AA
Who: The Northern most Semi-final hosts Inverness brutes Bloodsun and alt-metallers Fight The Raptor, alongside Aberdeen heavies Goodhuman, and Edinburgh’s Chekov’s Gun, who both romped up to take the Fraserburgh Heat victory.

One band from each Semi-final will progress to the Grand Final at La Belle Angele, May 18th, with a selection of special guest headliners, including Haint, and more to be announced. Blind Bird tickets are still on sale here. At the Final, one band will be chosen to play at this year’s Bloodstock Open Air, with legendary metal acts such as Opeth, Architects, Amon Amarth, Clutch, Carcass, and many more.
